Construction of modular houses for Ukrainians who lost their homes because of the Russian aggression

Kharkiv Region is among the five most affected regions in terms of housing stock destruction. The hostilities have damaged or destroyed about 94 cultural heritage sites, more than 4,800 infrastructure facilities and 4,200 residential buildings. Around 150,000 people were left homeless.

Of the 56 communities in Kharkiv Oblast, 22 were under Russian occupation. That is about 40%. Most of the occupied territories of Kharkiv Oblast were liberated during the Ukrainian army counter-offensive of 7-11 September 2022 - during which time the Ukrainian military was able to regain control of more than 544 settlements (approximately 3,000 km²).

The Tsirkuny village council reports 1,500 destroyed houses out of a total of 3,000.

The community's residents need help. And we must meet this challenge by providing modular houses installed on the land of those affected. This will allow the locals to continue living on their land, carry out agricultural activities and return to their usual way of life.

The cost of the first phase of assistance to manufacture and provide 500 modular houses for residents of the community is $7,485,000.

The second phase of implementation involves the producing and provision of an additional 500 modular houses.
